Hello & Welcome

Unity of Verde Valley is a Heart-Centered Community Inspiring Spiritual Growth Through Faith, Prayer and Gratitude.

Unity is heart-centered progressive, practical, positive Spirituality.  We honor all spiritual paths and follow the teachings of Jesus.  Unity is known for the power of prayer, healing, and teaching spiritual principles that transform our human experience from difficulty to joy, from lack to prosperity, from dis-ease to wholeness.

We are a spiritual community that works towards inclusivity and social justice.

Unity’s Basic Principles

God is Absolute Good, everywhere present.

Our essence is of God, and therefore, we are inherently good.

We create our experiences by the activity of our thinking.

Through affirmative prayer and meditation, we connect with God and bring out the good in our lives.

We give and do our best by living the truth we know. We make a difference.

Our Minister

Unity of Verde Valley’s Minister of Record is Rev. John M. McLean. He serves the ministry is a special capacity and is at our location at regularly scheduled times (approximately every 6 weeks) and is available remotely via Zoom Online Meetings or Phone for Spiritual Counseling and Prayer.

Reverend John M. McLean

In his words…

I see my chief work as a teacher of Principle, joyfully celebrating the Divine as the human experience and as a provider of a place for the language of the soul to be expressed. The language of own soul expresses as excellence in presentation, connections between New Thought precepts and the Perennial Philosophy, and an exuberant sense of the possible.

In all I do, I strive to close the gap between “what we know and how we live” in the world, and to express these values: Compassion as Inclusivity, Prosperity as the Fullness of Life,Joy as Creativity, and to be an Advocate for the Wellness of Soul, Soil and Society.
